Waste Water Unlicensed Operator –

The City of Geneva will be accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment
Plant unlicensed operator. This employee will work under the supervision of the Wastewater
Treatment Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. Strong mechanical/electrical
background preferred. Will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance; monitor pump
stations and other wastewater plant facility and equipment operations, routine laboratory
analysis, as required. Possession of, or the ability to obtain within one-year, Commercial
Driver’s License issued by the State of Ohio is required. Salary is dependent upon

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT UNLICENSED LABORATORY TECHNICIAN –

The City of Geneva will be accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment
Plant unlicensed laboratory technician until filled. This employee will work under the supervision of the
Wastewater Treatment Superintendent and/or the lead Laboratory Technician.
Will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled analytical tests to ensure compliance with the EPA
Mandates following prescribed and developed procedures.
Applicants must have a high school education or GED equivalent, supplemental technical training in
biology, environmental science, chemistry or a closely related field. One year experience in a laboratory
environment or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary is dependent upon qualifications, $16.28 to $18.55. Applications and job descriptions available at
